The leader of ‘The Romantic Movement,’ Jesse Boykins III, assembled his team (MeLo-X, Street Etiquette, Mara Chris Turner) for the mini movie/music video “B4 the Night is Thru.”
The musical score of the video is handled by Machinedrum’s fulfilling combination of dubstep and electro-bass that effortlessly takes viewers from a trance to two-stepping. Boykins feed off the energy of music to build his courage crooning, “I’m talking to myself working up the nerve/to stay in arms length so I could be heard.”
After three years of engaging fans to rewind his debut LP ‘The Beauty Created,’ the Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter is gearing up to release his forthcoming album entitled ‘Love Apparatus.’
The video was directed by The Romantic Movement’s Dr. Woo.
