Usher and his team, including songwriter/producer Rico Love, have arrived in South Africa. Following visits to both Capetown and Johannesburg, the “Climax” singer will play Hansa Festival of Legends Saturday.
According to the Times Live, ticket sales for the concert at Orlando Stadium in Soweto have exceeded 25,000. The arena holds 30,000 according to promoters of the event.
Usher tweeted about his journey via Twitter Wednesday, sharing a pic of himself and Rico Love in Capetown.
“We’re so happy to be here,” said Usher.
In related news, Usher’s new single, “Climax,” is climbing the charts. The record leads his forthcoming seventh studio album, due in stores later this year.
