by Plans for late legendary singer Etta James’ memorial and funeral services have been announced.
According to CNN, a public viewing will be held at the Inglewood Cemetery in Inglewood, California Friday, January 27 followed by a private funeral service Saturday, January 28 at Greater Bethany Community Church City of Refuge in Gardena, California.
The Rev. Al Sharpton will preside over the service, according to the family.
James died January 20, after battling leukemia, dementia and hepatitis C.
Since her death there has been an outpouring of tributes and well wishes from the public and entertainment community at large.
James will be missed.
