Police Respond to Paula Abdul’s House Alert With Guns Drawn

Police rushed over to X Factor judge Paula Abdul’s home on late Thursday (December 15) night after her Sherman Oaks house alarm went off.

The police arrived around 2:30 AM to respond to a call made by the private security company that monitors the neighborhood. Police had to draw out their guns when they discovered the front door open with no one home. However, they did not find any evidence that intruders entered the property, nor did they find anything missing from the home.

Sergeant Steve Gottschalk of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Station confirmed, “As we couldn’t get hold of Ms. Abdul or a responsible person, and nothing appeared to be missing, we left a card.”

He also added that the house appeared to be used as storage space.
