Kandi Burruss of the “Real Housewives of Atantla” has been named as a honoree in The Steed Society’s ‘Top 25 Women of Atlanta.’ Burruss is joined by esteemed entrepreneurs, corporate executives, civic leaders and cultural tastemakers of Atlanta for the sixth annual celebration.
“We admire the Top 25 Women of Atlanta honorees for making history with their unparalleled achievements,” said Munson Steed, CEO, Steed Media Group. “We are grateful to them for all they do and give. Their level of service is why we have labeled them titans in the industry and community. Their leadership allows others to follow the well- blazed trail they have marked.”
An affair for the select list of woman will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in Atlanta’s Atlantic Station’s Ballroom.
Kandi recently opened up to S2S magazine about creating multiple opportunities. “I have multiple hustles. I’m always thinking about what’s my next move,” she said.
Along with being a prominent member of RHOA, Kandi is the owner of Tags boutique, creator of the “Kandy Koated Nights” radio show, developer of an adult toy line (Bedroom Kandi) and star of the new Bravo series “Kandi Factory.” She also heads the foundation Kandi Cares, which helps single parents “afford to do things for their children they might not be able to afford” otherwise.
She adds: “That’s why I keep multiple things going on. In my opinion, I’ve been in the industry long enough to know that you may be hot, but as soon as you cool down, people are ready to say, ‘She fell off.'”
