Four-time Grammy winner Roberta Flack’s desire to make music has not stopped; the seventy-four year old singer is prepping the release of her nineteen album, which will be a compilation of Beatles’ inspired classics.
“My passion for this project comes from the magical genius of the greatest songwriters of all time.” says Flack. “Love, inspiration, friendship and my own life’s lessons come together when I sing the songs they created. I am honored to be a part of the fabulous legacy of the Beatles.”
The first single from the album is her interpretation of “We Can Work It Out.” Flacks first release in eight years is slated for release in February of 2012 via a partnership with 429 Records, Sony ATV Music Publishing and Flack’s RAS Records.
