The late Amy Winehouse’s parents plan on making the singers North London home estate into the headquarters for a charity in honor of their daughter. The property, estimated at $4 million, includes a ten room mansion.
In addition to turning the late singer’s home into The Winehouse Foundation headquarter, the organization will receive funding from jazz legend Tony Bennett. Bennett will provide the foundation all of the royalties to “Body and Soul,” a duet he and Amy recorded for his forthcoming album.
“…It’s going to a foundation that her father started to teach all the young children not to take drugs, and all the royalties of the record will go to that,” Bennett told MTV.
