Lauryn Hill is a mother again! The “Doo Wop” hitmaker gave birth to her sixth child on Saturday (July 23) after announcing her pregnancy a few months ago. Despite a little scare during the birth, the new baby boy is said to be healthy.
A source told BlackCelebKids.com: “Mother and baby are fine,” but that they “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.” The source, which confirmed the birth, also added: “All is well now and everyone is happy.”
Currently, it’s unclear who the baby’s father is. Rohan Marley, the father of her other children, recently left Hill for Brazilian model, Isabeli Fontana.
Nonetheless, congrats Ms. Hill on your newborn!
