One MusicFest returns to Atlanta for the second annual celebration, bringing together audiences from different musical interest under one roof. The indoor/outdoor festival, which kicks off August 27, 2011 at Park Tavern, will incorporate performances from several genres including soul, progressive hip-hop, alternative and rock. Currently the performers for the festival will include soul singer Anthony David, Hip Hop group The Pharcyde and progressive Hip Hop group Foreign Exchange.
“There is a lack of representation for soul, progressive hip-hop, alternative and rock, represented under one roof, in the format of music festivals in Atlanta. We have noticed that while there are many pockets of individuals that share taste in the same music, rarely do you see them share in this together. ONE MUSICFEST was created with the idea of ‘music as the universal language,” states J Carter, Sol -Fusion Founder and ONE MusicFest Producer.
In addition to the musical experience, the festival offers the Crab & Shrimp Festival, interactive and artistic experiences.
