Pop/Soul newcomer Jessie J has been forced to cancel all of her summer concerts and festival performances after undergoing emergency surgery on her broken foot.
While in rehearsals perfecting her performance for London’s Summertime Ball, the singer fell off a platform onstage at Wembley Stadium. Jessie was immediately admitted into the hospital where it was discovered that the singer-songwriter had torn a major ligament in her foot.
“Sorry doesn’t feel enough to say, I am devastated for my fans that I know have been waiting to see me and working hard for tickets. I was so excited about the summer and I’m as upset as you all are. But unfortunately these things happen. I have to remain positive and I promise I will make it up later in the year,” Jessie J stated.
The events on her schedule that are cancelled include Paris: Orange Rock Corps, Scotland’s T In The Park , Oxegen in Ireland and the i-Tunes Festival in London.
