We may have seen the last of Gwen Stefani as a solo artist. The No Doubt frontwoman is ready to go back to work with her group and says her solo stardom was just a “moment in time” that went on too long.
After taking a break from the hit band in 2004, Stefani released two albums, ‘Love. Angel. Music. Baby’ and ‘The Sweet Escape,’ both of which went platinum.
Now ready to regroup with her bandmates, Stefani recently confirmed that the band is working on a new album and that she has no plans for anymore solo efforts.
“That was a moment in time,” Stefani tells Entertainment Weekly. “It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you’re at in that time in your life… everything works out how it should.”
No Doubt will announce future plans in a statement on Friday (June 10).
