Lenny Kravitz will add another movie to his acting resume. He recently has joined the cast of “The Hunger Games,” which includes stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
The film is based on the first book of Suzanne Collins ‘Hunger Games’ trilogy published in 2008. In ‘The Hunger Games,’ a young-adult science fiction film, Kravitz will play the role of Cinna, a fashion stylist.
Kravitz has been recognized for his acting ability with a nomination for an ensemble SAG Award for his role in “Precious.” He also has appeared in “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” and “Zoolander.” ‘The Hunger Games’ is set to be released in theater in March 2012.
In addition to the his acting role, Kravitz will release his ninth studio album, ‘Black and White America,’ on August 30, 2011.
