Adele Earns Eleventh Consecutive Week Atop UK Album Chart

There is no stopping soul singer Adele. The British songstress continues to make history on the UK albums chart by logging her 11th week at number one with her latest effort ‘21.’

‘21,’ The follow-up to Adele’s debut ‘19,’ which sits at No. 3 on the chart, has earned the most consecutive weeks at number one for a solo artist’s studio album in U.K. history. The disc is also the first release to land 10 weeks atop the British chart since Dire Straits in 1986.

In other chart news, Jennifer Lopez’s single “On the Floor” featuring rapper Pitbull holds the No.1 position on the singles chart for a second consecutive week.
