While the world had their ears glued to Beyonce and her manager, dad Mathew Knowles’ announcement to end their life-long business relationship, R&B singer Tiffany Evans was also making a career change of her own. Evans, who was also managed by Knowles and his Music World Entertainment, severed ties with the industry veteran after less than two years of working together.
The move for Evans seems to be more of a win-win situation as she tells Singersroom, “I think the purpose of that relationship was to learn more. And it definitely was a learning experience.” Adding, “But now that Journey is done. And it couldn’t have come at a better time. A time where I’m ready to try new things. I’m too excited.”
Since her debut self-titled album in 2008, Evans has battled and overcame several personal and business hurdles. Now with a new outlook on her promising career, the 18-year-old says, “I’m More than Happy, I’m Joyful, Adding “The best decision was made for me and my career at the end of the day. Now I can focus on giving my fans the best of who I truly am. There’s so many great things going on its kind of hard to take it all in. All I can say is God is awesome.”
So what’s next for the young songbird?
“Well I’m working with the Boys and Girls Club of Americaâ¦I’m really excited to be apart of their movement and everything that is going on with them.”
“And as far as my music goes…I’m LITERALLY ready to just burst out and let you guys in on this “thing” I’m releasing very soon. I think I might have to give Singersroom a sneak preview. Whatcha think?;-)”
