After hinting about her negotiations with Rick Ross in a recent VIBE Vixen Q&A then updating her Twitter bio to state Maybach music, to many, the Teedra Moses deal seemed complete. Well, not so, Moses tells Singersroom exclusively, adding the deal is still in the works but the ink isn’t dried just yet.
The R&B songstress, who lives in MIA, will more than likely sign with the Miami based record label but they are still working out all the details. For now, the Young Lioness is already in the studio working on the Maybach music compilation album. As far as the Twitter update, she’s just showing love for her new found family.
Moses has written songs for other artists including Nivea, Christina Milian, Mary J. Blige and others. She was featured on and co-wrote two songs from Raphael Saadiq’s 2004 album Ray Ray, “Chic” and “I Want You Back”. Her songs also have been showcased in the Logo series Noah’s Arc as well as in the HBO hit show Entourage, movies such as Never Die Alone, Beauty Shop, and Be Cool.
Though Moses has not released a studio album in 6 years, she plans to release her second studio album entitled “The Lioness” sometime in 2011.
