Noel Gourdin ‘Rejuvenated’ With New Home, New Album Coming April 12

Soul/ R&B singer Noel Gourdin (Gor-Deen) will release his sophomore album ‘Fresh: The Definition’ on April 12, 2011 via E1 Entertainment. The set is lead by the soul-stirring first single “Beautiful,” a guide to chivalry for men by detailing the proper way they should cater to a lady – not a boo. The track recently jumped to No. 22 on the Urban AC charts.

“This time around the implementation of live instruments such as strings, horns, bass, guitar, and grand piano offer a more genuine feel for my style of music,” says Gourdin regarding the new project. “The refreshing blend of live instrumentation, organic production, and lyrical content is reminiscent of classic old soul yet relatable to current music and lyrics, and will hopefully have my fans as excited as I am about this album.”

‘Fresh: The Definition’ is the follow up to Gourdin’s debut effort ‘After My Time,’ released via Epic Records and boasted the hit single “The River.” Now with a new label that feels like home, The R&B crooner is excited to express his new creation to fans.

“Being signed to Columbia/Epic was an experience in itself, but since becoming a part of the Mass Appeal family, I have discovered what it means to be happy and enthusiastic about music again,” says Gourdin. “Being at a label where you are free to express yourself creatively makes the project and experience that much more meaningful.”

Gourdin adds: “This process has rejuvenated me as an artist in this industry and it is evident in the music.”
