Paula Abdul Makes Frantic 911 Call on Valentine’s Day Date

On Valentine’s Day, when most couples are enjoying an exquisite candle lit dinner, romantic dances and the good ole love-making, singer Paula Abdul was calling 911.

Abdul reportedly called the authorities on Valentine’s Day after a heated argument with her date, who allegedly refused to take her home, while driving in Santa Barbara, California.

In her emergency call, obtained by, Abdul can be heard screaming and crying, “I wanna go, and he won’t let me!” She then tells the man, “Are you gonna drop me off ’cause I have emergency on the phone,” before telling the adviser, “He’s dropping me off.”

Not too long after Abdul got home, the cops showed up to make sure she was alright and the “Straight Up” hitmaker insisted it was just a disagreement that got out of hand.

A rep for the star says, “Arguments with loved ones are often times heated. After the call was made everything was worked out.”

It is not known who Abdul was with at the time of the call.
