Soul/R&B crooner Anthony Hamilton is currently recording his next studio album, the follow-up to 2008âs âPoint of It All.â Only in the early stages, the âCanât Let Goâ hitmaker says things are shaping up.
âIâm working on it right now,â Hamilton tells Singersroom of the album. âItâs going really well and Iâm working with some really heavy hitters this time and just branching out. Itâs really going well.â
Hamiltonâs last album âPoint of it Allâ has quietly struck Gold in the U.S. without much promotion.
In related news, Hamilton recently shared his views about the fight against AIDS with Singersroom at a pre-Grammy Belvedere event because it hits home for him.
âWell, this is very real to me. My wife has lost both her mother, her father, and we just lost her brother to AIDS; so it is three people in her immediate family,â says Hamilton. âItâs really real in my life. So it is really important to me to come out and support.â
