R&B singer Ne-Yo has confirmed a collaborative effort in the works with hitmaker Bruno Mars. There is no word on the style of song the two will concoct as they are just in the talking stage.
Ne-Yo tells the Daily Star newspaper: “I worked with Bruno before my name was even Ne-Yo. We have been talking about doing something together again. I don’t want to give too much away, but it’s being talked about.”
Ne-Yo has written songs for R&Bâs biggest stars, including Beyonce, Rihanna and Usher, while Bruno Marsâ is responsible for hits from Cee Lo Green, B.o.B and more.
Teaming together will be a winning combination according to Ne-Yo, who says he is proud of Mars.
“To see him doing so well and come out with these big tunes for himself makes me proud,” says Ne-Yo.
In related news, Ne-Yo is readying his UK tour, which kicks off in Scotland on February 25.
