Ryan Leslie Sets Release Date For ‘Les Is More’

In the spirit of the national holiday, Independence Day and his label independence, songwriter/producer Ryan Leslie took to his twitter account to reveal that he is planning the release of his upcoming third solo album “Les Is More” on July 4, 2011.

Leslie also reveals that this next project will be more introspective and less romantic.

He spoke with Vibe late last year about finding the right sound, saying: “I’ve been doing a lot more writing from the piano in terms of the chords structure, and I’ve also been searching for the right sound.”

The album release date comes months after Leslie retrieved his stolen laptop with his new music. According to German website Bild.de, Bernd P. (name changed) found Ryan Leslie’s stolen laptop while walking through the forests on November 27th in Stommlerbusch and returned it to local police.

To date, the $1 million reward Leslie offered for its return is outstanding.
