Usher to Kick off European Tour Tonight After Delay Due to Illness

R&B singer Usher will make German fans happy tonight. The hitmaker will open the European leg of his “OMG” tour after it was delayed a day due to illness.

In a release, Usher apologized to fans after making the decision to push back the kickoff.

“I am truly sorry to all my fans in Berlin who were inconvenienced by tonight’s postponement of the show,” Usher stated yesterday after falling ill. “I was ill and felt that I would not have been able to give them the show that they properly deserve. I am looking forward to performing tomorrow and giving Berliners a great show.”

He has been treated by doctors for a sinus complication that affected his balance and he is already feeling better, according to his website. The show has been rescheduled for tonight, Thursday January 13, 2011.

Berlin is the first stop on the Texas-born singer’s European tour that follows the release of his sixth album “Raymond v. Raymond.”
