Keyshia Cole Talks Possible Bora Bora Wedding, Hopes The Best For Mother

With the release of her fourth studio album around the corner, R&B singer Keyshia Cole has kicked her promotions into overdrive. With that said, the “Long Way Down,” hitmaker made a special appearance on The Wendy Williams Show earlier today. Showing off her sparkling engagement ring, Cole talked about plans for a February wedding to fiancé and Cleveland Cavaliers star Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, as well as wanting the best for her mother. “We’re thinking about February, but we’re trying to see with both of our schedules. They [Cavaliers] play seven or eight months straight,” Cole tells Wendy. “I would like to. I would like to have it in Bora Bora, actually.” Speaking about her mother Frankie, who is currently trying to detox on Celebrity Rehab, Cole says “I’m just hoping for the best.” Adding, “I can’t say if she’s doing good or bad, because I really don’t know. It’s so hard to tell with all the…‘I’m doing great! I’m doing great!’ And then you see her and it’s like no…I’m just praying, because I’d like for her to be a part of my child’s life.” Cole will continue her promotions by visiting Chelsea Lately, 106 & Park and The Steve Harvey Morning Show. She also covers this week’s Jet magazine, which is currently on newsstands. Keyshia’s “Calling All Hearts” album will be released next Tuesday, December 21st and is lead by the singles “Long Way Down” and “I Ain’t Thru,” featuring Nicki Minaj.
