R&B singer Ray J recently released his new single, âLast Wishâ at iTunes along with the music video. The Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins produced track is from Ray J’s forthcoming album Raydiation 2, due in early 2011 via SRC/Universal/Darkchild/Knockout. The video, directed by Taj, is about the breakup of an intense relationship because Ray J’s love interest is harboring a surprising secret about her occupation. “As my artistry is maturing, I have taken my time to create a piece of music that is a statement about my life. It’s hectic, it fun and I’m in love,â Ray J states about the upcoming project. âThis album reflects that and it’s a complete work that is packed with great songs that can be enjoyed from beginning to end.” Adding to the promotion of the new CD will be Season 2 of Family Business, which will chronicle the making of Raydiation 2. In addition to showing him in the studio and signing his new record deal, it will also showcase many of the life and love situations that inspired the songs Ray J wrote for the CD. Music aside, Ray J will also give back to the community this holiday season by making various appearances, giving away clothes, toys and food to children and needy families in the Los Angeles region.
