Rihanna Earns Ninth Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 With ‘Only Girl’

Rihanna has captured her ninth No. 1 single on the chart as “Only Girl (In The World),” the first single from her new album, Loud, moves 2-1 this week. It was only two weeks ago that the pop star scored her eighth when the Drake-assisted “What’s My Name” topped the chart. This gives Rihanna the most No. 1′s of any artist in the 2000′s, she’s the only female to top the chart four times in a single year, and it’s the first time an album’s first single tops the chart after its second single. As Singersroom recently reported, Rihanna fifth studio album ‘Loud’ debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart, moving a little over 200,000 units.
