Former Jodeci group member Devante Swing was arrested for drunken conduct at a restaurant in Burbank, California. The 90âs R&B group veteran singer was captured on camera staggering into a Subway restaurant on Sunday (November 7), crashing into the venue’s tables and knocking over chairs, before falling on to the restaurant floor. Devante was later arrested for being drunk in public, after a concerned citizen called the cops, reports TMZ. DeVante, 41, real name Donald Earle DeGrate, Jr., was released from a nearby jail several hours later after he had sobered up. He was not slapped with any charges for the incident. Jodeci was a hit R&B band famous in the early-to-late â90s and consisted of two pairs of brothers, the DeGrates â Donald âDeVante Swingâ DeGrate and Dalvin DeGrate and the Haileys â Cedric âK-Ciâ Hailey and Joel âJo-Joâ Hailey.
