Rihanna’s ‘What’s My Name?’ Soars to No. 1, Regains Chart Dominance

With the recent leak of her 5th studio album, ‘Loud,’ Rihanna has something to celebrate about. Her new single, “What’s My Name?” featuring Young Money rapper Drake, has rocketed to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. “What’s My Name?” also debuts at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart, shifting 235,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Nielsen also reports that the infectious track lands Airplay Gainer honors on Radio Songs, charging 24-16 (48.6 million in audience, up 30%). “What’s My Name?” marks Rihanna’s eighth career Hot 100 No. 1 and third this year, joining “Rude Boy” and her guest appearance on Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie.” Rihanna’s lead single “Only Girl (In the World)” continues its presents on the Hot 100 as well, rounding out at No. 4. ‘Loud,’ drops in stores Tuesday November 16.
