In preparation for her debut release, newcomer Starshell will visit clubs around the U.S. throughout the month on November. Signed to Mary J. Bligeâs Matriarch/Geffen Records, Starshell released her debut single âSuperluvaâ last month, which was later followed by a music video. âSuperluvaâ was produced by Fernando Garibay (Lady Gaga, U2, Britney Spears) and Petro directed the music video. Not new to the business, Starshell is an accomplished songwriter who has co-penned several songs, most notably âLove Lockdownâ for Kanye West and âI Can See in Colorâ and âCloserâ plus new songs for Mary J. Blige. Starshellâs as-yet-untitled debut album, featuring producers and writers such as will.i.am, Scott Storch, Jerry Wonda, Swizz Beats, Ne-Yo, Jeff Bhasker and Martin Kierszenbaum, will be released in 2011.
