Fallon & Felisha Says Cherish Bond Is Strong, Talks New Album

You may remember Fallon & Felisha from the R&B quartet Cherish, who broke the Billboard Hot 200 with their debut album, Unappreciated. The twin sisters are now trying their hand at becoming a duo and are planning to release an album. The first single, “Lights Out,” has already been released and is an up-tempo track. In Fallon & Felisha’s interview with AceShowbiz, they discussed this new project and the rumors about Cherish breaking up. “Cherish is a bond that is unbreakable,” said the sisters. “We plan on having a very long career in the music industry and to definitely release more albums as a group in the near future.” The other sisters in Cherish are said to be very supportive of Fallon & Felisha’s new venture and have given their blessing. Fans can expect Fallon & Felisha’s music to be more pop-friendly, and relatable to all genres. “‘Lights Out’ is a catchy song that anyone can dance to,” said the duo of their first single. “It’s a great first single to reflect the mystery of the new sound and album and give a taste of what else there is to come.” They are still working on their debut album, and it is expected to be released mid-2011. Fans shouldn’t expect a lot of guest appearances, the girls want their fans to get to know them with this album. Six songs from Fallon & Felisha’s upcoming album can be heard on their website, and will make the final cut for the set. The girls are interested in doing other things outside of the music industry, but for now want to give their fans new music.
