Trey Songz Shows No Signs Of Slowing Down

Weeks after releasing his fourth album, Passion, Pleasure, and Pain, Trey Songz has two hits in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100. “Bottoms Up” which features Nicki Minaj, is Songz’s second single to date to reach the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. On Thursday, October 21, “Bottoms Up” was up three spots (13-10) and is second to only “Say Aah,” which peaked at no. 9 in March of this year. Songz is dominating the R&B/Hip-Hop songs this week like he did earlier in the year with the back to back singles “Say Aah,” “I Invented Sex,” and “Neighbors Know My Name.” His latest single, “Can’t Be Friends,” claimed the no. 3 spot Thursday, with “Bottoms Up” at no. 2. Songz is on tour with Usher and Miguel this fall, and was also nominated for a 2010 Soul Train Music Award.
