Rapper T.I. caught the bad end of the stick with his recent drug arrest. A federal judge ordered the âWhat You Know About Thatâ rapper back to prison for 11 months after revoking his probation. T.I., real name Clifford Harris Jr., appeared in court Friday in Atlanta following his arrest last month in Los Angeles on suspicion of drug possession. He recently served 10 months behind bars on federal weapons charges and was out on probation. According to CBS News, T.I., 29, begged the judge not to send him back to prison, saying he needed to get help for drug addiction. He told the judge he “screwed up” and pleaded for mercy. Apparently T.I.âs good Samaritan deed of saving a man from committing suicide wasnât enough to sway the judgeâs decision. U.S. attorney spokesman Patrick Crosby said Harris will voluntarily surrender.
