Christina Aguilera, who filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman this week, is vowing to make things as easy as possible for the coupleâs two-year-old son Max. On Tuesday, October 12, Aguilera confirmed the split in a statement saying, âAlthough Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max is as strong as ever.â âSheâs focusing on continuing to be a great mom. Sheâs spending as much time as she can with Max,â says a source. âMax is her number one concern. Sheâs making a huge effort to continue to be a good mom through this transition for him. Christina wants to be the first face Max sees in the morning, and wants to be the one to put him to bed at night.â On Thursday, October 14, the singer took Max to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood. An onlooker told People.com, âChristina was in a cheerful mood and seemed to have a blast with her son Max. It was obvious that Christina was trying to have a fun outing and make things special for Max. Max looked very happy to be out with his mom.â âChristina looked anything but sad and itâs hard to believe that she is going through a very difficult break-up. She seemed very strong and just focused on keeping things normal for her adorable son.â Reportedly, Aguilera and Bratman signed a pre-nuptial agreement, and that will allow the singer to block Bratman from attempting to receive child support from her.
