Itâs an R&B album, and there some very big ballads on there. She was my shoulder to cry on. I was really sad when I heard she was having such a hard time. Sometimes, things can be overwhelming. I just know when you are an entertainer and you have these kind of moments, when you can get back on stage and perform, you can pour out all that frustration there.â Kandi also praised Fantasia, stating, âLetâs just say Iâm glad Iâm opening, because Fantasia is so fantastic and you donât want to come after that. I havenât been on a real tour in so long, so for me, itâs going to be like having that new artist feeling all over again.â Before the new album and tour, Kandi will have to continue to fulfill her commitment to the new season of âThe Real Housewives of Atlanta,â which she tells TV Guide, âTo be honest with you, I didnât know if I was coming back. âI was like, âEh, I donât know.ââ âItâs both good and bad being on this show. Iâm glad to be part of a successful series, of course, but there are other things that [the cast] canât talk about on our end that we feel should be better,â she says. âI didnât feel like I had to do the show, but I knew it would be a good tool to do the things I want to do outside of it.â
