Michael Jacksonâs mother, Katherine Jackson and his son Prince are suing concert promotions company AEG Live, alleging that they breached an agreement to provide physical care for the late King of Pop. The suit also says AEG was negligent in their hiring of MJâs physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, reports TMZ. In the suit, Katherine claims AEG’s contract with Michael “created a legal duty for AEG to act reasonably toward the physical well-being of Michael Jackson.” “AEG did not provide a doctor who was truly looking out for Jackson’s well-being and did not provide equipment,” Katherine claims in the document. Also, the suit alleges AEG caused emotional distress to Michael’s son Prince because he witnessed his father suffering and dying. “He was put in a position as bystander to these tragic events,” the suit alleges according to TMZ. Itâs not clear what kind on monetary sum the family is looking for at this point. Jackson was set to perform fifty shows at London’s O2 Arena before his death June 25, 2009.
