Temptations Singer, Ali Ollie Woodson Dead at 58

Ali-Ollie Woodson of legendary R&B/soul group The Temptations has died. The singer passed away at his home in Southern California after a lengthy battle with cancer Sunday, he was 58. “He had this swagger about himself. He was cool,” Motown Alumni Association president Billy Wilson said in a statement over the weekend. “He had a coolness about himself that was really very inviting.” Woodson joined The Temptations in 1984, replacing Dennis Edwards as lead singer. He will be missed.
