Lyfe Jennings will be throwing in the towel when his next album, “I Still Believe,’ hits stores. Led by the lead single “Statistics,” Jennings has earmarked July 27 as the official release date through his label Jesus Swings, in association with Asylum/Warner Bros. As reported last year, Jennings cited family as his reasoning for putting the mic down. “I have three children and they’re at an age where they really need me there,” Jennings told Eurweb. “I just canât be on the road seven, eight months of the year. They need me in their life right now.” While Jennings is wrapping things up with “I Still Believe” this summer, he will continue to tour in support of the project and work on his label, Jesus Swings. “Iâm going to continue to tour, but Iâm not going to tour in connection with an album so therefore I wonât be touring as much. Iâm on my own label and I plan on doing other things with the label. Everything will work out,” says Jennings.. “I Still Believe” is due in stores July 27.
