Mariah Carey has shockingly withdrawn from Tyler Perry’s forthcoming film adaptation of ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf’ ! According to PEOPLE, Carey withdrew from the ensemble cast that includes Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Omari Hardwick, Macy Gray, Phylicia Rashad, Kimberly Elise, and more Tuesday, May 25. “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” Carey’s spokeswoman Cindi Berger said Wednesday, declining to give a reason for Carey’s withdrawal. While we are unsure just why Carey pulled out of the film after receiving praise for her last role in ‘Precious,’ some believe the “Up Out My Face” singer could be pregnant. ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf’ is slated to be shot this summer with an early 2011 opening in theaters.
