The wait is nearly over for Marques Houston’s forthcoming album “Mattress Music”. Led by the single “Kickin’ and Screamin’,” Houston has picked the month of July for the album’s release, nearly a year after putting out “Mr. Houston”. Admitting that “Mr. Houston,” his last album, was about “finding love,” Houston says “Mattress Music” is “a baby making album”. “At the end of the day, although the lyrical content and titles are very sexual and aggressive, it is good music,” says Houston. “The production is really great. Shout out to Eric, Chris Strokes and myself for producing this entire album. This album is something you can kick back and listen to along with going to the bedroom with it.” “Mattress Music” is due in stores July 27.
