After a close call with “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart,” Alicia Keys has finally earned her first no.1 single from ‘The Element Of Freedom,’ her fourth studio album. Rising four spots to claim no.1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart Thursday, Keys’ “Unthinkable (“I’m Ready”) follows her shared chart-topper, “Empire State of Mind” with Jay-Z. While news of Keys’ milestone on this week’s chart is good for her, it ends Monica’s run atop the chart. Holding on to the no.1 spot for nearly two months, Monica’s “Everything To Me” ends its seven week run this week. The lead single to “Still Standing,” the album, “Everything To Me” also ends up being Monica’s longest run at no.1 since “So Gone” in 2003.
