Ne Yo Questioning Fame, Money and Love On Next Album ?

Ne-Yo might have won you over with his last album, “The Year of the Gentleman,” an album packed with hits like “Miss Independent” and songs like “Why Does She Stay”. On his next effort, Ne-Yo seems to poised to ask the question — is it really worth it ? “I’m working on the love. I get approached to do things all the time for money or fame but it may go against my moral design,” Ne-Yo said when discussing the as-yet-untitled album due Fall 2010. “Sometimes self love is more important.” Partly inspired by a script he has written with friends, Ne-Yo says “The underlying question is about your moral fibre. Is love, money or fame more important to you?” As previously reported, Ne-Yo began working on the album, his fourth, shortly after filming the movie ‘Red Tails’ alongside actors Terrence Howard and Omar Gooding. Earlier this year, he told MTV that he has a lot to say this time out but remained mum on the album’s direction. “Just know I’m doing something a little different this time around,” said Ne-Yo. “Just be expecting that were gonna bring back entertainment — that’s what were gonna do.”
