Marques Houston Gets ‘Aggressive’ With Rick Ross, New Album

Marques Houston focused on love with his last release Mr. Houston. Switching it up on his forthcoming album, “Mattress Music,” the former Immature/IMX singer wants you to see his more aggressive side. Tapping Rick Ross, Houston will soon release the second single from “Mattress Music,” titled “Pullin’ On Your Hair”. A follow up to “Kickin’ and Screamin’, Houston says “Pullin’ On Your Hair” is aggressive, passionate and sexy. “I was feeling very aggressive when I recorded it, actually this entire album. It is very aggressive, passionate and sexy,” Houston tells Singersroom. “I feel like you have to be in the zone when you are making music. So all that aggression and passion exudes in this album.” As far as the title, Houston says it’s pretty much self explanatory… “She loves it when I’m pulling on her hair. It speaks for itself,” he says. “When you’re making love and you’re pulling on that hair, she loves it. A man being aggressive is what a woman wants in the bedroom and most of the women that I have dated, like aggression and passion.” Due in stores July 27, Houston’s “Mattress Music” is a follow up to his 2009 effort “Mr. Houston” and 2007 album, “Veteran,” which featured the hit single “Circle”.
