Lady Gaga Doubles Up With UK Album, Singles No.1

Lady Gaga’s ride atop the charts continues this week with not just the UK Singles Chart but albums chart as well. According to the Official Charts Company, Lady Gaga’s hit single “Telephone” claims the top spot on the UK Singles Chart this week, besting Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” and Justin Bieber’s “Baby” to claim the summit. On the albums chart, Lady Gaga’s “The Fame” rose to the summit after 62 weeks. “It’s a phenomenal achievement for Lady GaGa and shows just how much the chart can change in only a matter of days,” Martin Talbot, managing director of the Official Charts Company sad in statement. In related news, Lady Gaga has added an additional six dates to her ‘Monster Ball’ tour, which runs through this fall. Dates in San Jose, CA, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver and New York have been added (see dates, information here…).
