Akon Taps David Guetta, Titles Next Album

After working on some of 2009s top releases, Akon is ready to hit the charts with his fourth studio album. Said to be packed with “some incredible collaborations,” Akon has titled the effort “Stadium Music”. While he is keeping quiet about much of the album and its direction for now, the effort will feature a reunion with “Sexy Chick” collaborator David Guetta. “I got some incredible collaborations,” Akon told MTV this week. “I just can’t let you know yet. But I can give you a hint: Guetta will be a part of that record as well. It’s gonna be … just wait. I don’t want to overhype it. I just want to put it out and let you see.” Akon’s last album, 2008s “Freedom,” spawned the hit singles “Beautiful” and “Right Now (Na Na Na)”.
