While Mo’Nique is on the road to the Oscars, that will not stop the longtime comedian from returning to her roots this spring. Lining up a major comedy tour, Mo’Nique is slated to spend at least three months on the road this year. Dubbed the ‘Spread The Love’ comedy tour, Mo’Nique’s jaunt will kick off March 19 in New Orleans, eventually making its way through Los Angeles, Oakland, Houston, Boston, Newark, and New York, later wrapping up in Bridgeport, Connecticut May 22. “On this tour people can expect the kind of laughter that makes the bottom of their stomach hurt,” the ‘Precious’ actress told Black Voices. Tickets for the tour go on sale February 19 through Ticketmaster.
