Sade is back with nothing but strong reviews stemming from “Soldier of Love”. Released Tuesday, February 9, “Soldier of Love” has been called “unimpeachably excellent” by the Rolling Stone. Led by the title track, “Soldier of Love” was recorded in England, following 2000s “Lovers Rock”. Packed with just over seven songs, outlets including The Boston Globe, Associated Press and Billboard are also giving “Soldier of Love” nothing but praise. The Boston Globe calls it, “a rich and rewarding album,’ while the Associated Press raved, “like a long-ago lover not quite forgotten, Sade has returned to steal our hearts with more beautiful, uncategorizable music,” Billboard was quoted as saying, “it’s been 10 years since Sade released an album, but be forewarned â the giant has awoken,” while People Magazine reminds us that “Sade remains the voice of comfort to the wounded heart.” Sade’s “Soldier of Love” is available both in stores and at digital retailers.
