Alicia Keys Upgrades Element With New Dates

Alicia Keys is extending the anticipated “Element of Freedom” related tour, adding dates as far west as Oakland through early April. Joined by Melanie Fiona, Keys is set to kick off the over twenty date trek February 28 in Montreal, Quebec. According Live Daily, Keys recently added two dates to the tour, including a stop in Norfolk, VA March 14. A date in Oakland, CA has also been announced for April 10. As previously reported, Keys’ tour is in support of the 2009 effort “The Element of Freedom”. Led by the singles “Doesn’t Mean Anything” and “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart,” the album debuted atop the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart in December and has since been certified Platinum.
