Beyonce and “Sexy Chick” star David Guetta will face off for awards at this year’s anticipated NRJ Awards in France. Set to take place January 23, the NRJ Awards will celebrate music from both European artists and those abroad including Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey. Leading the pack, David Guetta, known most for the hit singles “Sexy Chick” (feat. Akon) and “When Love Takes Over (feat. Kelly Rowland), is up for two awards, including International Album of the Year. Joining Guetta, Beyonce will face off for International Album of the Year, along with Lady Gaga, Charlie Winston and the Black Eyed Peas. While the International Album of the Year field is sure to be the night’s biggest award, this year’s Best International Female field will be one to watch with Lilly Allen, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Shakira all vying for a win.
