Jamie Foxx will be ringing in the New Year with more than film related projects. The Oscar winner is in fact poised to hit the stage with new music thanks to recent collaborations with Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane. Kicking things off with a club ready anthem titled “Straight To The Dance Floor,” Foxx plans on releasing a new album in March. Titled “Body,” the effort picks up where he left off on hits like “Blame It” and “Digital Girl,” with Lil Wayne giving “Straight To The Dance Floor” a Hip Hop driven boost. Written by Rico Love and produced by Los Da Mystro (Trey Songz, The Dream), “Straight To The Dance Floor” follows the album’s buzz single “Speak French” (feat. Gucci Mane). While little else has been revealed about the chart-topping entertainer’s fourth studio album, sources say “Body” could arrive in stores as early as March 2, 2010. “Body” follows the 2008 effort “Intuition,” which spawned the hit singles “Just Like Me,” “She Got Her Own (Miss Independent Remix),” “Blame It,” “I Don’t Need It” and The-Dream, Kanye West and Drake featured “Digital Girl”.
