According to Billboard, Boyle and the Black Eyed Peas are the final no.1 charting acts for 2009 on the European Albums chart and Euro Hot 100 singles chart. Boyle, riding high on the best selling album “I Dreamed A Dream,” sits on top of the final pan-European chart while also remaining in the top 5 in Ireland, Sweden, and Norway. Meanwhile the Black Eyed Peas’ hit “Meet Me Halfway” continues its domination of the European Hot 100 singles chart. It also sits at no.2 in Germany. In related news, Keri Hilson’s soundtrack single “I Like” is no.1 in Germany this week. Written and produced by German musicians David Jost and Robin Grubert, “I Like” stems from the German film ‘Zweiohrkuken”. “I Like” is also Hilson’s first no.1 in Germany.
