Rihanna’s “Rated R” might have just been released. According to PEOPLE, however, the album is well deserving of a spot on its Top 10 albums of 2009. Calling the album Rihanna’s “coming-of-age manifesto” and her “Control” (sans Janet Jackson), PEOPLE says “It’s deeper and darker, harder and heavier than anything you would have expected from the girl who gave us “Umbrella”. Released November 23, “Rated R” has spawned the hit singles “Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova),” “Russian Roulette,” and “Hard” (feat. Young Jeezy). “Rated R” is Rihanna’s fourth studio album and follow up to the mega hit album “Good Girl Gone Bad”.
