R&B songbirds Fantasia and Toni Braxton are set to wrap up Centric’s current season with revealing interviews via ‘Leading Women’. Joined by those who know them best, including Fantasia’s mother Diane Barrino, the American Idol winner and sultry “Unbreak My Heart” singer will shed light on their careers, family and struggle in two episodes set to air this month. According to Centric, Fantasia intimately discusses her “highly successful career as an R&B singer and actress, as well as how she’s triumphed over difficult personal hurdles to achieve her goals” during an episode slated to air December 14 at 8:00pm. “Fantasia also talks about her humble beginnings in Highpoint, North Carolina, being bullied as a child, and how she dealt with a horrific sexual assault incident. With emotional commentary provided by her mother Diane Barrino and other family members, viewers will get an up-close, introspective look into the fascinating life of Fantasia Barrino.” Toni Braxton, sharing obstacles she’s personally overcome to become one of today’s top entertainers, can be seen December 21 at 8:00pm. Fantasia and Braxton follow previously featured ‘Leading Women’ Maya Angelou, Patti LaBelle and Sanaa Lathan.
